Sharad says it is a 'struggle' after EC rejects his plea over party symbol
A day after the Election Commission of India rejected senior Janata Dal (United) leader Sharad Yadav's plea claiming party symbol, the rebel leader said it is a struggle and fight which he would win.

Sharad Yadav is expected to hold a press conference on Wednesday to put forward future course of action.
"It is kind of struggle and fight. We are ready to face this. I did not speak today because I am just listening everyone right now. I will hold a press conference at 12 noon on Wednesday. I will put forward my future plan in the press conference," he said talking to ANI.
The EC on Tuesday refused to take cognizance of the Sharad Yadav-led camp's claim to JD(U)'s election symbol as its plea was not backed by affidavits of support from party legislators and office- bearers.
Sharad faction, which had approached the EC on August 25 claiming to be the "real JD(U)". The dispute within the party was triggered by Nitish walking out of the ruling grand alliance with Congress and RJD in Bihar in July and forming the government with BJP's support, less than 24 hours after his resignation.
The Nitish-led JD(U) has repeatedly dismissed claims of a "split" in the party, with the Bihar CM daring Sharad to break the party if he has the numbers.
