Sexual Assault: After Tarun Tejpal, Tamil TV channel's editor arrested

Police on Sunday, Dec 22 arrested the editor of Captain TV, the official TV channel of Vijayakanth-led party -- DMDK. The editor of the Tamil Nadu-based TV channel has been taken into custody in connection with a

case.

The senior editor has been accused of sexually harassing a former employee of the channel. However, the official statement of the channel refused to accept the allegations saying that the complainant was terminated long time back.

Recently, former editor-in-chief of Tehelka -- Tarun Tejpal too was arrested in connection with another sexual assault case. Tejpal was accused of taking sexual advantage of a young woman colleague in Goa.

After his arrest, Tejpal reportedly accepted of having physical relation with the complainant but claimed that it was an act of consensus.
