Joy ride turns tragic: Seven killed on their way to attend wedding in Jharkhand road accident

Nine persons were travelling in a Scorpio when the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a roadside tree near Harsain, around 145 kms from the state capital

Ranchi, Dec 14: Seven persons were killed and two were injured while on their way to a marriage function in a road accident in Jharkhand's Palamau district on Wednesday, police said.

According to Lesliganj police, nine persons were travelling in a Scorpio when the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a roadside tree near Harsain.

Harsain is around 145 Km from Ranchi.

The two injured members have been referred to a hospital in Ranchi for treatment.
