Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Muralidhar Rao once again distanced itself from tainted former minister and mining baron G Janardhan Reddy on the issue of his appearance in election campaign. In a press conference held in Madikeri, Karnataka BJP incharge Muralidhar Rao categorically denied Janardhan Reddy's association with the party.
Muralidhar Rao urged the media persons to send video, whatsapp messages if Janardhan Reddy was seen addressing people in the BJP political event.
He said, "Janardhan Reddy is not a star campaigner of BJP, he is not a BJP leader today."
"The party will think of his induction only after he comes clean on allegations levelled against him," he added.
Muralidhar Rao challenged if Siddaramaih had evidences to prove cases against brothers of Janardhan Reddy BJP MLAs Somashekhar Reddy and Karunakar Reddy he should have done in five years of rule.
"His brothers are not leaders because of Janardhan Reddy," he added.
Janardhan Reddy was seen campaigning for his friend B Sriramulu contesting from Molakamuru constituency. Reddy had held roadshow in Chitradurga. Last month, responding to media questions, Amit Shah said the "BJP has nothing to do with Janardhan Reddy."
