Sena activists burn magazine copies over article on Bal Thackeray
Mumbai, Aug 18: Shiv Sena workers on Monday held a protest here against an article published in a weekly magazine on late party chief Bal Thackeray, while a case has been filed in adjoining Thane district in connection with the piece.
The Sena workers protested at Nariman Point area in South Mumbai. They tore copies of the magazine and set its pages on fire to vent their anger against the article.

The protesters also demanded an unconditional apology from the magazine's editor. Meanwhile, a case was tonight registered in a Thane Police station over publication of the article on Thackeray.
"A case has been registered at Rabodi Police Station under Section 153 (a)(b) of IPC against the editor of the magazine," an official spokesman of the police said.
Section 153 deals with promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc, and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony and national integration.
He said,"In the morning some people gathered near Rabodi police station and sought action against the magazine. So a case has been registered."
