Seema Haider's Ex-Husband Ghulam Hires Indian Lawyer, Seeks Custody Of Children
Seema Haider, a Pakistani national who crossed into India last year, is facing legal challenges as her first husband in Pakistan has hired an Indian lawyer to seek custody of their four children. Ghulam Haider, Seema's husband in Pakistan, is reportedly planning to approach an Indian court to initiate legal proceedings against Seema.
Seema Haider arrived in India with her four children, all below the age of 7, in May last year. She was residing in Greater Noida's Rabupura area in a rented accommodation, keeping a low profile. Seema and her Indian partner, Sachin Meena, were arrested on July 4 and granted bail three days later by a local court.

Ghulam Haider, believed to be from Jacobabad in Pakistan's Sindh province, claims to have met Meena while playing the online mobile game PUBG and subsequently fell in love with him. There are reports suggesting that Seema Haider is expecting a child with Meena.
Seema Haider's first husband has sought the help of Ansar Burney, a prominent Pakistani lawyer and human rights activist, to secure custody of his children. Burney has stated that they have engaged an Indian lawyer, Ali Momin, and have sent the power of attorney to commence legal proceedings in Indian courts.
While speaking to the media in India, Seema has stated that she has converted to Hinduism and does not wish to return to Pakistan. She also claims that her children have also embraced Hinduism.
Ansar Burney has asserted that the case is straightforward as the conversion of underage children is illegal. He believes that Ghulam Haider has a strong case in this matter.
Regarding Burney's claims, Seema Haider and Sachin Meena, through their legal representative AP Singh, have stated that they are not aware of any such developments and will respond accordingly once officially notified.
