Seema Haider Threatens Neighbour With Defamation Case For Calling Her Husband 'Jhingur'

Pakistani woman Seema Haider, who entered India illegally to be with her Noida-based boyfriend Sachin Meena, has threatened to take legal action against her neighbour for making comments on Sachin's physical attributes, India Today reported.

In a recent viral video, Seema Haider's neighbour Mithilesh Bhati was heard calling Sachin "lappu" and "jhingur". Her lawyer has warned her neighbour of filing a defamation case against her.

Mithilesh Bhati will receive a response from every husband for making the aforementioned comments against Sachin, Seema's lawyer, AP Singh said.

In interviews, Mithilesh Bhati used the terms "jhingur sa" and "lappu sa" to address Sachin. "In a diverse country like ours, insults based on skin colour and physical attributes will not be tolerated. We are planning to take legal action against the woman," the advocate said

Responding to this development, Bhati claimed that he did not insult anyone. "I got angry, and those words slipped from my mouth. Such language is commonly used here in our colloquial conversations. People call me 'lappi' but that doesn't mean I will become 'lappi'. I have not insulted anyone," she said.

Seema Haider, a married Muslim woman from Pakistan and mother of four, came across 22-year-old Sachin Meen on PUBG during the pandemic in 2020. After falling in love, she left her country and married him in Nepal. She then went back to her country, sold her property for flight tickets and a Nepal visa from where she illegally entered India with her four children to stay with the man whom she married in May.

She took a bus from Delhi to Noida to meet her lover.

More than one-and-a-half-month later, local police got a whiff of a Pakistani woman and her children's illegal presence in their area. Sachin, Seema and her children tried to evade police arrest and fled, but were caught in Ballabhgarh in Haryana. Police then questioned them and officially arrested them on July 4, the officials said.

Seema hailed from Sindh province in Pakistan and was settled in Karachi after her marriage in 2014. She has embraced Hinduism and vowed to not go to Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Seema Haider was seen chanting "Bharat Mata ki Jai" while hoisting the Indian flag ahead of this year's Independence Day.

A video circulating on social media shows Seema Haider chanting "Pakistan murdabad," indicating her vocal disapproval of her country of origin. The video was shared by Ashutosh Dubey, Head of BJP Maharashtra Social Media.
