Security beefed up in Jaisalmer after threatening emails
Jaisalmer, Dec 27: Security has been tightened up in the border district of Rajasthan after 16 ministers received threatening emails purportedly sent by terrorist group Indian Mujahideen.
District SP Rajiv Pachar last evening held a meeting of officers and directed them be to remain alert. "All SHOs have been asked to be more vigilant, particularly in areas which are close to the border," the SP said on Saturday.

Routine checking in hotels and other places has also been intensified to check any suspicious movement, he said.
The ministers, including Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria and Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Arun Chaturvedi, had received the emails on their official IDs on December 22.
