Second FIR against TVF CEO Arunabh Kumar

This is the second complaint against TVF CEO Arunabh Kumar.

A second FIR was lodged on Thursday against The Viral Fever CEO Arunabh Kumar on charges of sexual harassment, a day after the first FIR which was lodged against him at the Andheri Police Station.

The FIR was registered by a struggling actor who is in her 20s at the suburban Versova police station on Thursday evening. The police said that the victim worked with Kumar in 2014 and she claimed he had misbehaved with her.

A case under sections 354 (A) (sexual harassment of the nature of unwelcome physical contact and advances or a demand or request for sexual favours) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was filed against Kumar.

However, ever since the first FIR has been lodged against him, he has been missing. Kumar has been summoned by the Mumbai Police for his statement in the case.

On Wednesday, the MIDC Police in Andheri had filed a case of sexual harassment against Kumar based on another complaint.

The complaint referred to accusations of sexual harassment against Kumar made in a blog post by an anonymous woman who claimed to be a former TVF employee. The post instantly went viral, and while both TVF and Kumar denied the allegations, several women spoke out accusing Kumar of sexually harassing them.
