Sea-to-Rann expedition of Army concludes
Golden Katar Artillery Brigade of the Indian Army organized an expedition involving kayaking & cycling to celebrate spirit of adventure.

Army organised sea-to-Rann expedition:
During the expedition, the team covered about 521 km in two legs, the first leg was of 46 km which as covered by Kayaking and second leg of 485 km was covered by cycling. The team comprised of one officer, two junior commissioned officers and 16 soldiers of the brigade.
When was it organised:
The expedition for Kayaking leg was flagged on February 15 from Lakhpat in Kutch district. The cycling leg commenced on February 21 from Koteshwar and travelled through Khavda and Dholavira and terminated at Dhrangadhra.
Aim of this expedition:
The expedition was organised with an aim of developing leadership trits and also to to celebrate spirit of adventure.
Expedition flagged off :
The expedition was flagged off by Brig S S Bakshi, SM, commander Golden Katar Artillery Brigade on February 27 at Dhrangadhra Military Station visited various BOPs and interacted with BSF personnel. The commander also congratulated the participants on successful completion of the expedition.
