Schools in Doda closed due to heavy rainfall
Bhaderwah (J&K), Mar 26: All schools in Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir have been closed due to heavy and continuous rainfall in the region for last 12 hours.
"District administration, Doda, today ordered closure of all educational institutions for the day in view of adverse weather forecast indicating heavy rainfall and thunder showers," Chief Education Officer (CEO), Doda, Mohd Ashraf Rather said.

"Following the instructions of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Doda, I have ordered closure of all educational institutions up to higher secondary level including private schools for the day," he said.
Ashraf said the decision was taken as there was warning related to adverse weather with indication of heavy rainfall which may lead to landslides and shooting stones.
