February 14 - Shab-e-Barat Holiday

February 14 is not just Valentine's Day; it is also Shab-e-Barat, a significant festival for the Muslim community. In light of this, the Telangana government has declared February 14 as a holiday.

While the government has listed Shab-e-Barat as an optional holiday, Muslim schools and colleges will observe a confirmed holiday. In Hyderabad, all schools will remain closed on this day.

February 15 - Sant Sevalal Maharaj Jayanti

February 15, which falls on a Saturday, is also expected to be a holiday. It marks the birth anniversary of Sant Sevalal Maharaj, a revered figure among the Banjara community.
