SC refuses early hearing into Ramjanmabhoomi case
The Supreme Court on Friday refused to hear the Ram Janmabhoomi matter early. The submission was made by senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Subramanian Swamy.

The Bench while hearing the submission said that it did not have the time right now to hear the matter. The Bench also refused to fix a date for the hearing. Swamy had sought an early hearing into the matter concerning the title suits of Ramjanmabhoomi and Babri Masjid.
It may be recalled that on the last date of hearing, the Supreme Court had suggested both parties to go in for an out of court settlement. It had advised the parties that the matter should be sorted out through negotiations. Further the court had also said that a judge of the Supreme Court could mediate between the two parties.
