SBI Recruitment 2024: Over 1100 Positions Available Across Multiple Categories – Apply Before The Deadline
The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a recruitment drive for various posts, including managers, officers, clerks, economists, and banking advisors. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online through the SBI official website: sbi.co.in.
Vacancies And Important Dates

For the Specialist Cadre Officer positions, including Economist and Defence Banking Advisor, registration began on July 17. The deadline to apply for these roles is August 6.
For the Specialist Cadre Officer roles such as VP Wealth, Manager, and other posts, registration started on July 19. The last date to submit applications for these positions is August 8.
The recruitment for Sportspersons in Officers and Clerical Cadre began on July 24. Applications for these roles will be accepted until August 14.

Eligibility Criteria
1.VP Wealth, Manager, and Other Posts: Detailed eligibility criteria for each post can be found in the official notification available on the SBI website.
2. Officers (Sportsperson): Candidates must have represented the country in an international game within the last three years.
3.Clerical (Sportsperson): Candidates should have represented their State in a national event, their District in a state-level event, or their University in an inter-university event with distinction. Alternatively, being a member of the Combined Universities Team with distinction also qualifies.
4. Economist: A master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematical Economics, or Financial Economics, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognised university or institute.
5. Defence Banking Advisor - Army: The specific eligibility criteria are not detailed in the official notification.
Selection Process
1. Sportsperson Recruitment: Selection will be based on shortlisting and an assessment test, evaluating sports achievements, general intelligence, knowledge of the game, personality, and physical fitness.
2. Economists and Defence Banking Advisors: Selection will involve an interview, which will be scored out of 100 marks. The qualifying marks will be decided by the bank.
3. VP Wealth, Manager, and Other Posts: The selection process includes shortlisting followed by an interview and CTC (Cost to Company) negotiations.
Application Fees
For General, EWS, and OBC candidates, the application fee is ₹750. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempt from this fee.
