‘Satyamev Jayate’: Manish Sisodia Hails Court Verdict, Says Constitution Has Prevailed

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia shared a strong message on social media after a city court discharged him and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case.

Posting on X, Sisodia wrote in Hindi, "सत्यमेव जयते" (Truth Alone Triumphs). His message reflected relief and confidence after the court's decision.

Praise for Dr B. R. Ambedkar and the Constitution

In his post, Sisodia said that he once again felt proud of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's far-sighted vision and the Constitution of India that he helped create. He suggested that the court's decision strengthened his belief in the country's legal and constitutional system.

By referring to Ambedkar, Sisodia highlighted the importance of constitutional values and the rule of law in protecting citizens from what he described as unfair allegations.

Claim of Vindication

Sisodia also stated that despite efforts by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party and central agencies to label them dishonest, the court ruling had proved otherwise.
He said that the verdict established that both he and Arvind Kejriwal are "kattar imaandaar" - meaning completely honest.

The statement signals that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) sees the court's order as a moral and political victory, not just a legal relief.
