Sasikala offers prayers for Jayalalithaa in Srirangam temple

Tiruchirappalli (TN), Feb 26: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's confidant Sasikala today offered special poojas at the famous Lord Sri Ranganathaswamy temple in nearby Srirangam, invoking divine blessings for her friend who has turned 68.

Sasikala offered special pooja at various sub-temples, including the Sri Sudarsana Alwar 'Sannadhi', in the sprawling temple complex, temple officials said.

She offered poojas to mark the birthday of the Chief Minister, who turned 68 on February 24, and prayed for her long life, they said.
