Saradha scam: Madan Mitra bail rejected, sent to judicial custody till Jan 2

Kolkata, Dec 19: West Bengal Transport and Sports Minister Madan Mitra - arrested in the Saradha scam - was on Friday yet again denied bail and sent to judicial custody till Jan 2 by a court here.

Madan Mitra sent to judicial custody

After hearing both the defence and the prosecution, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Haradhan Mukherjee sent Mitra to judicial custody.
