Sanjay Singh to Lead AAP’s ‘Rojgar Do, Samajik Nyay Do’ Yatra Across Uttar Pradesh

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is set to launch a large-scale people's campaign in Uttar Pradesh that aims to move beyond politics and give voice to public suffering. Beginning November 12, the party will undertake a 180-kilometre march from the Sarayu river in Ayodhya to the Sangam in Prayagraj.

The campaign, titled "Rojgar Do, Samajik Nyay Do" (Give Employment, Give Social Justice), will be led by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, who has consistently represented the people of the state both inside and outside Parliament.

A Journey Reflecting Everyday Struggles

AAP's yatra is designed to highlight unemployment, farmers' distress and the neglect of workers and small industries. It aims to give a platform to young people struggling for jobs, farmers awaiting fair prices for their produce, teachers demanding dignity, and frontline workers seeking justice. According to AAP, the march is not a symbolic gesture but a people's voice rising against silence and indifference from those in power.

AAP Calls It a Movement for Rights, Not a Political Ritual

Sanjay Singh has said the initiative is a fight for justice rather than a political ceremony. He accused the BJP government of making tall claims on employment while failing to deliver real opportunities. "Uttar Pradesh has become the capital of unemployment," he said. Recruitment drives are stalled, examinations are delayed, and repeated paper leaks have ruined the futures of thousands. He also noted that farmers continue to battle for payments, sugarcane dues remain pending, and small industries are shutting down while the government spends huge sums on publicity campaigns instead of addressing these issues.

Taking Public Voices from Sarayu to Sangam

The 180-kilometre journey will begin in Ayodhya and end at Prayagraj, passing through villages, towns and cities. At each stop, AAP volunteers and leaders will interact with residents, listen to their problems and spread awareness about issues of employment, equality and accountability. The party describes this as a movement born from people's participation, not one sustained by political privilege.

Anthem of the Campaign Gains Momentum

AAP's theme song for the yatra, "Main Desh Bachane Nikla Hoon", sung by Altamash Faridi and written by Bilal Bhai, has already become a talking point. The song expresses the determination of youth, farmers and workers who want their voices to be heard.

AAP's March Seen as a Public Challenge to the Government

Sanjay Singh, known for his fearless image, has repeatedly confronted the government on issues of corruption, unemployment and farmers' rights. He has raised these matters in Parliament and on the streets. AAP leaders say this march represents a direct challenge to the state government's record and acts as a public charge sheet on its failures.

Restoring the Idea That Power Belongs to the People

Through the 'Sarayu to Sangam' march, AAP seeks to remind both the people and the government that power ultimately belongs to citizens. When governments do not listen, streets become the platform for justice. This march, the party says, is only the beginning of a broader people's movement in Uttar Pradesh.
