Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt applies for parole yet again
Mumbai, June 16: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who is in the Jail since January this year has applied for parole yet again.
Reportedly, the ‘Munna Bhai MBBS' star has applied for 30-day parole to the divisional commissioner.
Sources say that the application has been confirmed by the concerned authorities and is currently under the process.

Recently the frequently granted parole to Sanjay Dutt had created huge uproar and it also left a big question mark over the Maharashtra Government.
Earlier in February this year, the Bombay High Court had asked State Government to tell the steps taken by them for modifying parole and furlough rules. The court also asked the government to file an affidavit on the same.
The division bench headed by Justice V M Kanade was hearing a public interest litigation challenging frequent leaves of absence obtained by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.
A prison probe report had also indicted actor on the matter. Report said that Dutt flouted rules by overstaying his last furlough by two days.
The 55-year-old actor is undergoing the remainder of his five-year jail term in Pune's Yerwada jail. He has been accused for possessing illegal firearms that was part of a cache of weapons meant to be used during the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.
