Actor Sanjay Dutt leaves Yerwada jail with a salute
Pune, Feb 25: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was released from Pune's Yerwada Central Jail on Thursday, Feb 25 after spending 42 months here in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case.
Dutt saluted the national flag as he walked out and even touched the ground in respect as he left the jail premises.

Dutt thanked his fans for all the support and said: "There is no easy walk to freedom, my friends."
Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Dutt's wife Manyata accompanied him (Dutt) to the Pune airport from where he will take a chartered flight to Mumbai.
Officials had told Dutt not to travel by road given the fan following he has. Dutt is likely to visit Siddhivinayak temple once he reaches Mumbai.
Dutt was seen carrying a bag of personal belongings and a file of documents as he left the jail. Meanwhile, many actors took to Twitter to welcome Dutt:
