'Samjhauta Express to be delayed due to internal matter'

New Delhi, Sep 25: Samjhauta Express, which runs between New Delhi and Lahore, will be delayed due to "internal matter" pertaining to labour, India has conveyed to Pakistan.

"Our Ministry of Railways has conveyed that because of internal matter (labour issues) there was disruption of track. Same was conveyed by our Railways through established mechanism to Pak Railways," sources said today.

"Our Railway Ministry has said Samjhauta will run but a bit delayed," they said. Samjhauta Express, a bi-weekly train that runs from New Delhi to Attari on the border and then to Lahore, was started in 1976.
