Sambhaji Chhatrapati, Raju Shetti, and MLA Bacchu Kadu Establish Parivartan Mahashakti for Political Change in Maharashtra

Former MPs Sambhaji Chhatrapati and Raju Shetti, along with Independent MLA Bacchu Kadu, have introduced a new political front in Maharashtra. Named Parivartan Mahashakti, this alliance aims to offer an alternative to the current ruling coalition, Mahayuti, and the opposition MVA. The formation of this new group comes amid public dissatisfaction and confusion over the presence of two NCPs and two Shiv Senas.

New Political Front Parivartan Mahashakti Formed

The political landscape in Maharashtra has seen significant changes recently. The Shiv Sena split in June 2022, followed by the NCP's division in July 2023. This has led to two factions being part of the government and two in the opposition. Sambhaji Chhatrapati stated that this situation has prompted the creation of Parivartan Mahashakti.

Political Dynamics and Upcoming Elections

The first public meeting of Parivartan Mahashakti is scheduled for September 26. Sambhaji Chhatrapati expressed hope that Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi leader Prakash Ambedkar will join their cause. He mentioned having a political discussion with Jarange Patil, highlighting their shared objectives.

Sambhaji Chhatrapati emphasised the importance of focusing on winning elections rather than merely opposing others. "I told him our objectives are the same. I told him instead of ensuring the defeat of someone, we should work towards making our candidates win in the elections so that they can voice the concerns of people in the assembly," he said.

Current Political Alliances

The MVA alliance includes Shiv Sena UBT, Sharad Pawar-led NCP SP, and Congress. Meanwhile, the ruling coalition comprises Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, BJP, and Ajit Pawar-led NCP. With assembly elections anticipated in November, these alliances are gearing up for a competitive political battle.

Sambhaji Chhatrapati is optimistic about Manoj Jarange joining their front. "We are confident Jarange will join us," he stated. This potential collaboration could strengthen Parivartan Mahashakti's position in the upcoming elections.

The introduction of Parivartan Mahashakti reflects a desire for change among Maharashtra's populace. As political dynamics evolve, this new front seeks to address public concerns and provide a fresh alternative to existing alliances.
