Salman's 'Sultan' effect: Man booked entire theatre for wife in Himachal Pradesh

Hamirpur, July 8: A man gave his wife a pleasant surprise by booking an entire cinema hall for the show of Salman Khan-starrer "Sultan" as she is a big fan of the actor. The incident happened in Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday (July 6).

Musafir, an alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, said: "When Salman's movie "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" was released, Geetanjali (his wife) asked me to get five tickets for the show. But I could not mange it and hence I decided to surprise her by booking the entire hall this time."

He then went on to book a 120-seater hall in ARV Cinemas in Gurukul Mall a day before the release of the much talked-about film.

The duo got married in April this year.

Elated over the surprise, Geetanjali said: "I am so happy and I don't think anybody has given such a surprise to his wife in Hamirpur."

Amit Thakur, managing director of the mall, said that Musafir booked all the seats in the hall saying he would come with 120 people.

"But I was surprised to see that he came to watch movie only with his wife," Amit said.
