Salman Khan's trial under Arms Act to resume from Sept 21
Jodhpur, Aug 19: The trial of the case against actor Salman Khan under the Arms Act which has been stayed since May 4 will now resume from September 21.
The trial court today ordered defence counsel H M Saraswat to call five prosecution witnesses for re-examination on September 21, 23 and 24. Saraswat said two witnesses would appear on September 21 and 23 each whereas one witness would appear on September 24.

The trial in the case had been stayed earlier by the session court and then by the high court since May 4, when Khan had to produce evidences in support of his plea of innocence in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (Rural).
Allowing the Criminal Miscellaneous petition by Khan seeking permission to permit him to recall these five prosecution witnesses for re-examination, justice Nirmal Jeet Kaur of the Rajasthan High Court on July 28 had ordered the trial court to summon these witnesses.
In pursuance of this order, judge Shivani Bhatnagar Johri today ordered the defence counsel to call all the five prosecution witnesses listing the matter for hearing on three consecutive dates.
