Blackbuck Poaching: Setback for Salman Khan, plea rejected

Salman, who appeared before the court to record his statement on Wednesday, has been asked to reappear before the court on March 10. While asking Salman to appear before the court, the judge overruled his plea of clubbing the two cases.
Salman along with his colleagues of the cine world were booked in 1998 when they killed black buck while shooting for a Hindi movie -- 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'.

Salman is charged with illegal possession and use of weapons for poaching protected animals. He killed the animals with weapons even after its license lapsed.
Earlier other accused -- Sonali Bendre and Tabu were produced before the court for their identification in the black buck poaching case of 1998.
