Salman Khan Firing Incident: Mumbai Cops Arrest Fifth Accused In Rajasthan
The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested the fifth accused in connection with a firing case outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's house in Mumbai.
He has been arrested in Rajasthan and the name of the arrested accused is Mohammad Chaudhary. "He helped the two shooters, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, provide money, and do recce. Chaudhary is being brought to Mumbai today where he will be produced in the court and a demand for custody will be made," the Mumbai Crime Branch said in a statement.

The cops had earlier arrested four persons, comprising Anuj Thapan, Sonu Bishnoi, shooters Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, while gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi have been shown as wanted accused.
However, 32-year-old Anuj hanged himself in the police lock-up on May 1. The incident came to light when a crime branch official noticed that Thapan was in the toilet for a long time. When the door was forced open, he was found hanging from the toilet's window, an official told PTI.
He was rushed to the nearby state-run Gokuldas Tejpal hospital where he was declared dead during treatment.
Thapan's relatives claim that he was subjected to custodial torture leading to his death, and they are calling for an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
On April 14, the accused persons shot five rounds - one of it hit the wall and another the gallery of Khan's residence. During the probe into the incident, a Facebook post claiming responsibility for the firing had surfaced. The post was uploaded allegedly by Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, according to the police.
Thapan and Sonu Kumar Bishnoi (32) were arrested by a crime branch team from Fazilka in Punjab on April 26. The two had allegedly supplied weapons to shooters Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta for firing at Salman Khan's residence.
