Sadhvi Pragya Thakur Reacts After BJP Denies Ticket To Her From Bhopal
Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, a firebrand leader and Member of Parliament from Bhopal, on Sunday, reacted after the BJP denied a Lok Sabha ticket to her. Talking to the media, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur said ticket denial is a result of her comments in the past over Gandhi and Godse. She said the Prime Minister had told her that she would not be forgiven.
"I did not seek a ticket before, and I am not seeking one now. The use of certain words in my previous statements might not have pleased Prime Minister Modi, and he had expressed that I won't be forgiven. However, I had already apologised to him earlier," Bhopal MP said.

BJP's first list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections 2024 comprised 195 names, but this time Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, an accused in the Malegaon blast case, was replaced by Alok Sharma, former Mayor of Bhopal.
However, Sadhvi Pragya made it clear that she is a loyal soldier of the saffron army and will remain available wherever the organisation needs her. Sadhvi added that she is ready to fulfill any responsibility given to her.
Earlier in 2019, when Sadhi Pragya Thakur sparked controversy for praising Nathuram Godse and tagging him as a 'true patriot', who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi.
Diving into the past, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur quoted Prime Minister Narendra Modi "I will never be able to forgive Pragya Thakur for insulting Mahatma Gandhi."
