SAD workers protest, burn effigy of Arvind Kejriwal
Chandigarh, Apr 12: Punjab's Ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders on Tuesday held statewide demonstrations against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal and burnt his effigies in protest against his alleged dual policy on Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) issue.
Akali Dal supremo and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal had given a call for statewide protests against Kejriwal against his alleged dual policy on SYL issue and demolition of a 'piau' (water kiosk) at Seesganj Gurudwara in Delhi.

There is a "great resentment" among the Sikh community over the demolition of a water kiosk at Seesganj Gurudawara at Delhi, an Akali Dal spokesman said.
