SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal Accuses Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann of Targeting Party Members
SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal has accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of directing senior police officers to frame his partys social media heads in fake cases. Badal made these remarks while addressing the media in Amritsar.

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal has accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of directing senior police officers to frame his party's social media heads in fake cases. The accusation comes after a special investigation team of the Punjab Police, probing a drugs case, summoned SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia to appear before it on December 18.
SAD President Condemns Pressure Tactics
Addressing the media in Amritsar, Badal expressed his disapproval of the alleged pressure tactics employed by the Punjab government. He emphasized that neither the SAD nor its workers would be intimidated by such actions. Badal highlighted the party's history of fighting against repression and asserted that they would emerge stronger in the face of adversity.
Previous Case Against SAD General Secretary
Badal pointed out that Chief Minister Mann had previously forced the cybercrime cell to register a frivolous case against SAD general secretary Parambans Singh Romana, who later received relief from a court. He alleged that Mann was now attempting to silence senior leader Bikram Majithia by issuing summons in a case where the Punjab Police had failed to present a challan for the past two years.
SAD Vows to Continue Exposing Chief Minister
Badal declared that the SAD would not be intimidated by these actions and would continue to expose the chief minister at every opportunity. He accused the Punjab CID head, acting on the instructions of the chief minister, of attempting to silence SAD social media voices that were critical of Mann's administration. Badal asserted that the more cases were registered against the party, the more they would share information exposing the chief minister.
Badal Challenges Chief Minister
In a defiant move, Badal stated that he would personally share the same matter on his social media account and dared the chief minister to register a case against him if he wished. He emphasized that the SAD would not be deterred by these tactics and would continue to fight for the rights of its members and the people of Punjab.
