Sachin Pilot And Sara Abdullah Officially Divorced, According To Poll Affidavit

Rajasthan Congress leader Sachin Pilot and Sara Abdullah have ended their nearly two-decade-long marriage, a revelation made in Pilot's election affidavit for the upcoming Rajasthan polls, where he indicated "divorced" in the spouse details section.

This marks the first instance where Pilot, aged 46, has publicly acknowledged his separation from Sara Abdullah, who is the daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference (NC) chief Farooq Abdullah.

Sachin Pilot and Sara Abdullah Pilot entered into matrimony in 2004, and they are parents to two sons, Aaran and Vehaan. In the affidavit, Pilot specified that both of his sons remain his dependents.

Furthermore, the affidavit indicates a substantial increase in Pilot's wealth over the past five years. In 2018, his total assets were approximately valued at Rs 3.8 crore, which has since nearly doubled to an estimated worth of Rs 7.5 crore by 2023.

The Rajasthan Assembly election is scheduled for November 25, with the results set to be announced on December 3.
