Sabarimala Virtual Queue Booking Opens for Mandala-Makaravilakku Pilgrimage: Steps To Book Tickets

The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has announced the commencement of virtual queue bookings for devotees visiting Sabarimala during the upcoming Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season. The online booking facility will open at 5 PM on November 1, allowing devotees to secure their preferred darshan slots in advance.

According to TDB officials, a maximum of 70,000 devotees can book darshan slots each day through the online system, available on the official portal sabarimalaonline.org. This system, introduced to manage the massive influx of pilgrims efficiently, aims to ensure a smooth and safe darshan experience at the hill shrine dedicated to Lord Ayyappa.

In addition to online reservations, on-the-spot booking centres will be operational at Vandiperiyar, Erumeli, Nilakkal, and Pamba, enabling another 20,000 devotees daily to register for darshan in person. The Mandala pooja festival begins in mid-November, while the Makaravilakku celebration will be held in January.

• Select the "Virtual Q" option on the dashboard.
• Choose the preferred date and time slot for darshan.
• Enter the details of devotees (name, ID proof, age, etc.).

Devotees are advised to carry a valid photo ID and the booking confirmation slip while visiting the shrine.
