Veteran politician and former Union minister S M Krishna who was all set to join the BJP on Wednesday has returned to Bengaluru over a personal loss. The unfortunate death of S M Krishna's sister, a resident of Bengaluru's Rajajinagar has put the former Congress man's move to join the BJP on hold.

Krishna who had left to New Delhi on Tuesday evening with his wife was informed of his sister's death in the night. Krishna returned to Bengaluru on an early morning flight. He was to join the BJP on Wednesday evening in the presence of party's national president Amit Shah.
