The juvenile or child in conflict said at a counselling session with the members of the juvenile justice board said that the only reason for him to carry out the murder was to ensure that the exams were postponed.
He said that he had purchased a knife from the Sohna market. On September 8 i reached the school and left my school bag in the classroom. I went up to Pradyuman and asked him to accompany me to the washroom on the pretext of seeking a favour. He knew me and hence was easily convinced. At the washroom I slit his throat, the juvenile further told the board members.
Meanwhile the CBI produced the juvenile before Judicial Magistrate First Class Devender Singh on Saturday. As the agency did not seek further extension of custody, the court sent the juvenile to the Faridabad observation home.
