RSS leader Jagdish Gagneja continues to be critical
Ludhiana, Aug 8: RSS leader Jagdish Gagneja, who was severely injured after being shot at by some bike-borne assailants, continued to be critical today, doctors said.
G S Wander, director, Hero DMC Heart Institute, said the RSS leader was on ventilator. He was examined by a team of senior doctors of PGIMER and DMCH this morning, Wander said.

Meanwhile, an RSS delegation presented a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.
The memorandum which was addressed to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal also demanded that the government deal firmly with the "forces trying to destablise the country."
The delegation was led by city RSS chief Phul Chand Jain. Gagneja, Vice President of the RSS (Punjab), was shot at on Saturday by bike-borne persons at Jyoti Chowk area here when he had gone shopping with his wife, leaving him seriously injured.
A four-member SIT has been formed to probe the attack.
