RSS files FIR against media houses for claiming Sangh will have second HQ in Ayodhya
Reports had claimed that the RSS would construct its second headquarters in Ayodhya and this would come up on a plot of 100 acres
The Rashtriya Swayamseval Sangh (RSS) has filed a complaint against three prominent newspapers for spreading fake news about the organisation.
The complaint was filed by Dr. Ashok Dubey, the Prant Prachar Pramukh of the RSS, Awadh Prant at the Hajratganj police station in Lucknow.

The FIR was filed against Rakesh Aggarwal and Ramesh Mishra of Dainik Bhaskar, editor of Haribhoomi and chief editor of News 24.
The newspapers had claimed that the RSS would construct its second headquarters on 100 acres of land in Ayodhya, covering an area that is 100 times larger than Nagpur.
To mark its 100th anniversary, the RSS will build its second headquarters in Ayodhya. The Housing Development Board has been requested provide 100 acres of land for this this. The RSS wants this property under the Green Fieldship Programme (Navya Ayodhya), the report claimed.
The FIR says,' the persons accused therein for their deliberate act of maligning the image of the Sangh through electronic and print media. On February 14 2023, the website of the Dainik Bhaskar had an article uploaded regarding the upcoming of another RSS Headquarters in Ayodhya over 100 acres, which shall function in addition to the existing headquarters in Nagpur. The article was drafted by one Ramesh Mishra, local correspondent, Dainik Bhaskar at Ayodhya. The news slide was also circulated by the News 24 channel on the same day.'
The same news was on February 15 published by other news agencies viz ' Hanbhoomi News, TV 9, Focus 24 news, Prakash TV, Starsavera channel, Jodhana Abbtak news Janadesh today channel, The Bharat News, OP India News, Mhara Hariyana News, Punjab Kesari and others, the FIR also read.
The complaint says that the RSS already has its office at Saket Nilayam at Ayodhya for the last so many years. Their agenda is obvious and that is to associate Ram Mandir, which is coming up after the judgment of the Honorable Supreme Court.
It appears that as part of a motivated plot, despite being cognizant of the full facts, they chose to cloak the reality using propaganda pieces aimed at harming the goodwill, the reputation, and the truth of RSS by publishing the oblique and tainted news story, irresponsibly and recklessly, without any degree of factual investigation and ignoring all journalistic ethics and principles to malign the pious image of RSS, the complaint also read.
Dr. Ashok told Organiser that the fake news was published with the intent of tarnishing the image of the RSS and Ayodhya.
