RSS favours immediate implementation of OROP
New Delhi, Sep 2: The RSS favours the early implementation of the One Rank One Pension. At a three day coordination meeting between the BJP and the RSS commencing today, various issues have come up for discussion.
One of the key points that was raised during the meeting was the implementation of the One Rank One Pension. Sources part of the meet informed that the RSS feels that the issue needs to be resolved at the earliest.

A three day coordination meet of the RSS and the BJP is being held between September 2 and 4 at New Delhi. The performance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be reviewed at this meeting.
At the meeting the OROP issue came up for discussion. The RSS felt that the early implementation of the OROP would help the image of the government and the veteran soldiers should not undergo this pain in the form of protests and hunger strikes.
The meeting is being attended by 95 members of the RSS and the BJP. Prior to the meeting it was decided that the OROP would be on the agenda.
The other issue which would be discussed is the Patel agitation in Gujarat. The elections at Bihar which is extremely crucial for the BJP is also expected to be discussed at the meet which lasts three days.
However the RSS was extremely particular that the OROP issue needs to be resolved at the earliest. It has urged the government to bring about a closure to this issue as soon as possible and not let it drag on.
