RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Application Window Reopens On October 2

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced that the online application process for Technician vacancies will reopen on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. According to the official notice, the registration window will close on October 16, 2024.

During this period, new candidates can submit their applications for Technician vacancies, while existing applicants will have the opportunity to update their preferences and make changes to their submitted applications.

The application fee for General category candidates is Rs 500, while SC, ST, Female, Transgender, and EWS candidates will pay Rs 250.

RRB has outlined important guidelines for both new and existing candidates before the application session reopens:

• Candidates who have already submitted applications and paid the required fees are considered existing applicants. They won't need to pay again. They can modify their chosen categories or apply for new ones.
• Existing applicants can update their educational qualifications, re-upload photos and signatures, and adjust their RRB and post selections. There is no need for them to submit new applications.
• New candidates include those who previously submitted applications but did not pay the fee, as well as those who applied and paid for the Technician Grade 1 Signal post but did not apply for Technician Grade 3.
• Candidates who applied for other RRB recruitment drives this year (other than Technician under CEN 02/2024) and those who haven't applied for any RRB recruitment this year are also considered new applicants.
• New applicants can apply for Technician positions in categories 2 through 40 during the reopened application period.
• From October 17 to October 21, applicants will be able to edit their forms for a fee of Rs 250 per modification.
• New applicants can revise their forms following the job announcement guidelines, while existing applicants will only be allowed to modify certain fields, including photo, signature, zone, post preferences, and educational qualifications during the editing window.
