The exam covers Basic Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness, totaling 120 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. The exam is divided into three shifts, starting from 7:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 3:00 PM, allowing candidates to plan their arrival according to the reporting time indicated for their respective shifts.

To further aid candidates in their preparation, the RRB has provided a timetable for downloading the admit cards. Depending on the exam date, admit cards can be accessed according to a schedule that spans from February 27 to March 15. This staggered issuance ensures that all candidates have sufficient time to secure their documentation ahead of their exam date.
