RRB JE 2024 Notification: Massive Recruitment Drive With Vacancies In Thousands – Apply Now At rrbapply.gov.in

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially launched the online registration and application process for the recruitment of Junior Engineers (JE), Depot Material Superintendents (DMS), Chemical & Metallurgical Assistants (CMA), Chemical Supervisors (Research), and Metallurgical Supervisors (Research).

This recruitment is being conducted under Employment Notice CEN No. 03/2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions through the official website rrbapply.gov.in. The deadline for submitting applications is August 29.

Vacancy Details

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,951 vacancies across various posts in the Indian Railways. Specifically, there are 17 vacancies for Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research positions under RRB Gorakhpur. The remaining 7,934 vacancies are designated for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant roles.

Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their application forms and pay the modification fee from August 30 to September 8.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be aged between 18 and 36 years as of January 1, 2025, to be eligible for these posts. Each applicant is permitted to apply to only one RRB and must submit a single common application form, even if applying for multiple posts. Selection Process

The selection procedure will consist of a two-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by document verification (DV) and a medical examination (ME) for the shortlisted candidates. Please note that there will be a one-third negative marking in the CBT.

Application Fee

The application fee for RRB JE 2024 is Rs 250 for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates. For all other applicants, the fee is Rs 500. A portion of this fee will be refunded after appearing for the first CBT, minus any applicable bank charges.
