RRB Group D Recruitment: Salary, Allowances, and Selection Process – Check Full Details Inside

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the salary details for Group D positions. As per the official notice, selected candidates will be placed in Level 1 of the 7th Pay Commission with a basic pay of Rs 18,000 per month. However, with additional benefits, the in-hand salary will range between Rs 23,000 and Rs 26,000 per month, according to a Jagran Josh report.

The salary includes various allowances such as dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), and travel allowance. The dearness allowance is more than 40 per cent of the basic pay, while the house rent allowance depends on the posting location, generally around 27 per cent of the basic pay. Travel allowance is between Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000. A 12 per cent deduction is made for standard contributions.
