RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: Correction Window Closes Today– Check Steps To Modify Your Application Form
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will close the application correction facility for Group D vacancies today, March 13. Candidates who have already registered can make necessary changes to their application forms by visiting the official website at rrbapply.gov.in.
Candidates modifying their community status or category must pay an additional fee of Rs 250, apart from the modification charge, to cover the difference in the exam fee. It is important to note that only two corrections are allowed. Any further modifications will not be permitted.
Steps To Modify Application Form
Candidates can follow these steps to correct their application details:
1. Visit rrbapply.gov.in.
2. Find "RRB Group D 2025" and click on 'Modify Application'.
3. Log in using the required credentials.
4. Make the necessary corrections in the application form.
5. Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.
RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Details
RRB is conducting this recruitment drive to fill 32,438 Level 1 vacancies under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The application window was open from January 22 to March 1.
The vacancies are spread across various departments:
Traffic Department has 5,058 vacancies for the Pointsman-B position.
Engineering Department requires 799 Assistants for Track Machines, 301 Assistants for Bridges, and 13,187 Track Maintainers.
The Mechanical Department is looking to fill 2,587 Assistant (C&W) positions and 3,077 Assistant (Workshop) (Mechanical) roles.
Electrical Department is seeking 1,381 Assistant TRD, 744 Assistant Operations, and 1,041 Assistant TL & AC positions. There are also 624 vacancies for Assistant TL & AC (Workshop) roles.
S&T Department has 2,012 Assistant positions, while there are 420 Assistant Loco Shed (Diesel) and 950 Assistant Loco Shed (Electrical) vacancies.
RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process involves multiple stages:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): All candidates must appear for an online test.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Shortlisted candidates will undergo physical tests based on their performance in CBT.
3. Document Verification & Medical Examination: Candidates who clear PET will be called for final verification.
