RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Date Revised: Check New Schedule And Shift Timings
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released a new schedule for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Computer-Based Test (CBT) 2. The exam, which was earlier postponed due to server problems, will now be held on May 2 and 6, according to a Times Now report.
Earlier, the exam was planned for March 19 and 20, but it was cancelled midway because of technical issues.

Who Needs To Appear
The following groups of candidates must now appear for the rescheduled test:
1. Candidates who were supposed to take the exam in the first shift on 19 March, but did not complete the test.
2. All candidates scheduled for the second shift on 19 March.
3. All candidates scheduled for the first shift on 20 March.
Reporting Time And Admit Cards
1. For the first shift, candidates should report to the exam centre by 7:30 am.
2. For the second shift, reporting time is 12:30 pm.
The RRB ALP CBT 2 admit card 2025 and the exam city slip will be released at least 10 days before the exam. Candidates are advised to check the official RRB websites regularly for updates.
Important Advisory
The RRBs have warned candidates not to trust information from unauthenticated sources. The official notice says, "Candidates are advised to refer only to the official website of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources." It further adds, "Beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Tests (CBT), and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates."
Candidates are urged to stay alert and follow only official communication to avoid any confusion.
