RRB ALP 2024: City Slips Released For 18,799 Posts; Check Download Steps Here

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the RRB ALP 2024 exam city slip for candidates appearing in the upcoming examination on November 25. Candidates who have applied for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts can now download their city intimation slip from the official websites of the respective RRBs.

Key Details

According to the official notice, the city intimation slip for candidates under CEN 01/2024 ALP has been made available 10 days before the exam date. For those scheduled to take the exam on later dates, the slips will be released as follows:

November 26: Available from November 16
November 27: Available from November 17
November 28: Available from November 18
November 29: Available from November 19

RRBs have also sent SMS and email notifications to candidates whose slips have been released, using the registered contact details provided during the application process.

How To Download RRB ALP 2024 Exam City Slip

To access the city intimation slip, candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website of the RRB under which you applied.
2. Click on the link for RRB ALP 2024 Exam City Slip on the homepage.
3. Enter your login details on the newly opened page.
4. Click 'Submit' to view your city intimation slip.
5. Download and save a copy of the slip for future reference.
6. It is advisable to print a hard copy for ease of access on exam day.

Admit Card Release

The admit card for the exam will be issued four days before the respective exam dates.

Exam Schedule And Vacancies

The first phase of the Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) for ALP (CEN 01/2024) is set to take place on 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 November 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 18,799 Assistant Loco Pilot positions. Initially, 5,696 vacancies were announced, but the number was increased to 18,799 following additional demand from Zonal Railways.

RRB has warned candidates against falling prey to touts who may promise jobs in exchange for money. The recruitment process is entirely based on merit through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), and any claims of appointments through illegal means are false.
