Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday urged the electorate in Himachal Pradesh to rout the grand old party from every polling booth.
Addressing an election rally in Himachal Pradesh's Raitt, Modi said that the Congress has lost trust in its leaders and is trying to poach rebels from other parties.

"Ek bhi polling booth aisa nahi hona chahiye jahan Congress roopi deemak bacha ho (There should not be single polling booth where termite Congress remains)," he said.
He said people are angry with the Congress because of their deeds.
"They are going to celebrate November 8 as black day and burn my effigies. They don't know that Modi is a disciple of Sardar Patel and won't be cowed down," he said.
"People who were habitual looters and have had to return their loot today won't let me be at peace. Even you know that," he added.
The Prime Minister said that Himachal Pradesh made significant progress when former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was at the Centre and Prem Kumar Dhumal was the state chief minister.
"In 2014 Congress had promised to provide nine gas cylinders per year. When we came to power, we decided to provide gas through pipelines," Modi said.
Voting for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 will be held on November 9 and the counting has been scheduled for December 18.
