Robert Vadra Challenges Smriti Irani To Disclose Details About Her Restaurants, Degrees
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's husband and businessman Robert Vadra in a Facebook post on Friday, strongly criticised Union Minister Smriti Irani for presenting a photograph that purportedly featured Vadra alongside businessman Gautam Adani.
Vadra responded by questioning Irani's actions and urging her to provide details about controversies related to her daughter's restaurants in Goa, as well as her educational background. He emphasized that the people of India are interested in knowing about her restaurant ventures and academic qualifications. Vadra also called on the minister to refrain from being overly focused on him and from using his name for political purposes in Parliament.

Vadra's post declared, "Smriti Irani ji, cease your fixation on me and refrain from exploiting my name within the parliamentary arena. I challenge you to offer evidence or cease your deceptive behavior, as it appears you are... Your limitations cannot be concealed by merely pointing fingers at me. Keep in mind that when you point one finger, the remaining three point back at you, exposing a multitude of controversies connected to you and your family."
He continued, "The people of India are eager to uncover details about your restaurants in Goa and establishments operating under third-party names across various regions of the country. Additionally, what about your academic qualifications and the accompanying controversies? Prioritize addressing these concerns before casting accusations at others. Let's see if you choose to clarify matters about Goa and beyond, and whether you can genuinely substantiate your qualifications, although I have reservations."
Issuing a challenge to Irani, Vadra emphasized that failing to disclose or respond would indicate that "you are concealing facts and lack the qualifications... A regrettable situation!"
These remarks came after Union Minister Smriti Irani displayed a photograph during her speech in the Lok Sabha as part of the trust vote debate, suggesting a connection between Robert Vadra and Gautam Adani.
"I also possess a photo, if he is as problematic as portrayed, then what was your brother-in-law doing with him?" Smriti Irani remarked, proceeding to enumerate states and the projects within them, which she alleged were extended to Adani by governments led by the Congress party.
