RLD to contest UP Assembly election alone: Ajit Singh
Muzaffarnagar, Sep 3: Appealing his party workers to start preparations, Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Ajit Singh announced that the party will contest the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls alone.
Emphasizing party's stand further, Singh told reporters last evening in Shamli that RLD is not a part of UPA alliance.

He criticized the Narendra Modi-led government and said that the government has failed to control prices and corruption like promised by Modi in 120 elections rallies before coming into power.
Farmers are facing great difficulties over anti-farmers policy of Centre and state governments, Singh further said during the party workers' rally.
