RJD fasts against Modi Govt's withholding of caste data
Patna, July 26: RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his supporters fasted here on Sunday to protest against the central government's failure to make public the caste-based census.
"We are fasting to expose the Narendra Modi government's anti-poor, anti-Dalit and anti-backward face," Lalu Prasad told the media at the Gandhi Maidan here where the one-day protest is being observed.

Ram Chandra Purve, the state president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), said the fast was "just a beginning" in the campaign against the Modi government.
Lalu Prasad has called a shutdown in Bihar on Monday over the issue.
