RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav Hospitalised As His Health Condition Deteriorates
Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was hospitalised on Wednesday. He has been taken to the AIIMS in Delhi after being discharged from the Paras Hospital.
Lalu was first rushed to the Paras Hospital as his condition deteriorated when he was about to board an Air India flight at 4.05 pm, India Today reported.

Giving an update about Lalu's health, his son and party leader Tejaswi Yadav said, "...He is normal at present, he will be taken to the Delhi AIIMS soon for further treatment... 'Lalu Yadav kaleje wale aadmi hain'...Soon, he will be fit and fine..."
Upon hearing the news, RJD leader and former CM Rabri Devi also reached Paras Hospital to meet her husband and former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav.
As per the reports, the sugar levels in his blood deteriorated his health condition. Party leader Bhai Virendra had earlier said, "I always visit here, because he is our leader, guardian, but when I came to know that his health has deteriorated, I had come. We knew that his blood pressure, sugar level are fluctuating, he is going to Delhi, and he will return after check-up. There is no need to worry. The blessings of 13 crore people of Bihar are with him. He is one who always fights against communal forces, he is required," he said.
In the last few years, Lalu has been having a lot of health issues. He underwent angioplasty at Mumbai's Asian Heart Institute in 2023, before which he had undergone kidney transplant surgery in Singapore. His younger daughter Rohini Acharya, had donated her kidney.
However, Lalu is out on bail on medical grounds in the land-for-jobs scam.
