RITES Recruitment 2025: Senior Technical Assistant Posts Open; Check Eligibility, Application Fee, And More

Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has announced the opening of applications for the recruitment of Senior Technical Assistants. A total of 24 vacancies are available, and the application process is now underway, according to an NDTV report. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, rites.com.

The last date to submit the online application and complete the payment of fees is March 19. Candidates are advised to apply well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues. The admit cards for the written test are expected to be issued by March 20. The written test will be held on March 23.

RITES Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Senior Technical Assistant position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of two years of experience in PSC Sleeper Plant (including production, material testing, inspection, field quality inspection, quality assurance, or quality control), or
2. A minimum of two years of post-qualification work experience in Reinforced Cement Concrete Construction works.
Additionally, candidates must hold a diploma from an institution recognised by AICTE/BTE or a university established under an Act of the Central or State legislature in India.

General/OBC/EWS candidates: Rs 300 plus applicable taxes
SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs 100 plus applicable taxes

RITES Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The written test will consist of 125 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark. The test duration will be 2 to hours and 30 minutes, and there will be no negative marking.

Candidates in the PwBD category will be allowed an additional 50 minutes of compensatory time. To be eligible for further evaluation, candidates must score a minimum of 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts).

The written test will carry 100 per cent weightage in the selection process.
