Chennai, Dec 6: The micro-blogging site, Twitter, has been abuzz since the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa suffered massive cardiac arrest on Sunday.

Several hashtags-- #RIPAmma and #RIPJayalalithaa, to name a few--trended on Twitter on Monday.

The news of Amma's demise late of Monday night was the trending topic on all social media sites.

On Tuesday, #RIPamma was the top trend on Twitter.
